HANNU PALOSUO
Born in 1966 in Helsinki, Finland. Lives and works between Helsinki and Rome. He has studied History of Contemporary Art at “La Sapienza” University of Rome and Painting in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. Palosuo is the creator of a modern representational approach in which triteness can be shown to become absolutely topical. Conjuring up memories and remembrances, the artist turns everyday objects into the focus of his paintings and uses conflicting though harmonized tones to highlight the positive as well as the negative of images – their presence and the emptiness behind them.
